At the bottom of each math station page are links to I Can lists of directions for children to use at each station. These sheets will be laminated for inclusion in the station set, but will also be printed out for students to use as recording sheets.
After modeling each station for students, it would be advisable to take photos that relate to each of the I Can steps and add them to that station's I Can list (this is helpful for children who cannot read, are just learning to read, ELL students, and for autistic students and visual learners who comprehend pictures better than written instructions).
I would also create a ring of math talk cards for each math station. Each set of math talk cards would include ideas brainstormed by the kindergarten class as each station is modeled, but all sets would include the following information: (click on the icon below to find the illustrated math card template that would be used to create a set of cards):
