ABCya.com: Moon Rock Patterns
Blast off to explore patterns in space! A space ship zooms by, leaving a pattern and you must click and drag the correct moon rocks to fill in the next rock in the sequence. If you happen to click and drag the wrong moon rock up to the pattern, no worries - an "X" will appear, but then the game will fill in the correct moon rock for you. You want to get the pattern right, though, because then you rack up points and get to go to the next level.

National Gallery of Art: NGA Kids: Wallovers Art Interactive
The NGA Kids Wallovers interactive is so fun and colorful, your students will love making patterns using this program! You can decide whether to lay your design out on a square or hexagon grid, on a black or white background, and then pick a pattern using the template icons on the right. Once all of that is decided, you can then click on the various colors in the template below and then get to work adding designs. If you click on the circle icons on the lower left, you can add circles, but if you use the pencil icon, you can extend the circles into lines and create fantastic patterns! .Even better - you can print these patterns out once you've created them!

PBS Kids: Pattern Matcher
This cute game requires kids to find the match to the pattern at the top of the screen. There are Levels 1 (easy - identical pattern matches) and Level 2 (more challenging - children must translate the patterns at the top of the screen into another; i.e., they must find another pattern below that follows the same rule as the first pattern). Children may also rethink these patterns as AB, AAB, ABB, and ABC type patterns.
